Nigeria as a nation has 36 states, including the Federal Capital Territory located in Abuja

 

1. Lagos State

As it were,Lagos state is located in the South western part of Nigeria, its capital is Ikeja. Lagos state is the richest state in Nigeria and Lagos city is the Largest City in West Africa and arguably the Largest City in Nigeria. It has a population of over 9 million people. The city of Lagos is well diversified with people from different cultures and background. It is often call a no man’s land.

4. Oyo State

It is very important for all notable Nigerian to known that, Oyo State is located in the south western part of Nigeria. The people of Oyo State are Yoruba people. The Yoruba people are known for their academic prowes, and their healthy farming culture. Oyo state shares a common boundary with Lagos, which makes it also a centre of commerce and businesses. It is the fourth richest state in Nigeria.

5. Imo State

Good to announce  to you that,  Imo state is located in the south eastern part of Nigeria. The capital city is Owerri. The city of Owerri is famous for its history in entertainment. It’s a beautiful city filled with luxury hotels and other commercial buildings. The ethnic groups in Imo state includes mbaise, mbano, mbaitoli, ikeduru, Owerri, orlu etc. It is the 5th richest state in Nigeria.
