Fubara nominated 23 caretaker chairmen for LGAs in Rivers.

 Governor Siminalayi Fubara of Rivers State has appointed caretaker chairman for all 23

 local governments in the state. Fubara sent the list to the three-member Rivers State

 House of Assembly, led by Speaker Victor Jumbo, hours after directing the

Fubara hired Cultists and Gunmen to sh00t Local Government Chairmen- Ex- Ikwere LGA Chairman Alleged

 administration heads to take over the councils. According to a statement issued

 Tuesday night, the Clerk of the House of Assembly, G.M. Gillis-West, invited the

 nominees for screening on Wednesday at 8:00 a.m. This comes amid a growing

 political crisis caused by former council chairmen's unwillingness to quit their seats after their terms expired.
