During an interview on the Live With Lynda podcast, Doyin David said that she was let go by a business and confessed to
implementing a fake persona on the well-known reality show Big Brother Naija.
Doyin revealed that her performance in the first season of BBNaija, Level Up, did not meet her expectations, prompting her to
return for the All-Stars edition. She admitted that on the first episode, she tried to be mature and a mediator, despite her
innate proclivity for confrontation. Doyin David discussed her job as an influencer,
revealing that she lost a brand partnership as a result of an interview she took part in,
realising that this was an unavoidable outcome.
To be honest, my first run wasn't really good. I appeared on the show twice and disliked it. I was a fake. I came up with the idea that Doyin is overly mature. She's always wanting to talk things out, which isn't like me. In reality, I fight.
