I lay down and recorded my new album, Ayra Starr
Ayra Starr, a famous Nigerian singer, claimed that she had writer's block, which hindered her creativity. She said that she couldn't create songs for six months until a friend gave her a sample of her song '21' from her most recent album, 'The Year I Turned 21.' This demo inspired her creativity, allowing the music to flow smoothly. She recorded her second album entirely in one take while lying down with a microphone in hand.

Ayra Starr stated, "I received the demo of '21' from a friend as a birthday gift on the day I turned 21. I had told him it had been so hard... I had a writer's block for six months. I couldn't write about myself, so he gave me the first version of the song in demo form as a birthday gift. Recording '21' was fairly simple for me; I did it in one take. I was even laying down, microphone in hand. '21' stands out since it was the first song on the album that piqued my interest. With '21,' I began to see myself how I wanted to see myself."
