Governor Siminalayi Fubara of Rivers has stated that his administration will prioritise the interests of the state's people under the 'Rivers First' mantra. Fubara made the remark during a praise night organised by the state government to mark his first year in office on Friday in Port Harcourt. The governor was represented by his deputy, Prof. Ngozi Odu, and asked for the people's support in moving the state forward.
He asked the people to give their quota to help the administration accomplish its goal of boosting the state's prosperity. The governor prayed that God would continue to move mountains and improve the state's situation. Fubara was pleased with the spiritual ministrations and prophetic statements made by the event's performers. He stated that these were evidence of God's victory against the state.
