 continued the event. The presidency stated that it was simply a misstep and that Tinubu continued with the programme. This event occurred at Eagles Square, where many

 events were planned to commemorate the country's democracy day anniversary. Dada

 Olusegun, the president's special adviser on social media, made the clarification in a tweet.


The statement readsMr. President slipped while climbing into the truck for the Democracy Day celebration on June 12. It was a minor error. He swiftly started the ceremonial rounds. "No issues."
