Despite initial financial issues, Umar revealed that a successful crowdfunding effort garnered N352,000 to help his entrepreneurial venture. The movement quickly gathered traction, garnering support from a variety of sources, including former minister Isa Pantami.

Umar further claimed that he has received a fully funded scholarship to pursue postgraduate studies at any public university in Nigeria. "Secondly, a fully paid postgraduate scholarship at any public university in Nigeria to continue my studies. Finally, he introduced me to the MD of Alliance Power Generation Company Ltd, who will train me on solar installations, maintenance, and other topics that will help me follow my renewable energy aspirations," he added.
