A video circulating online shows Senate President Godswill Akpabio ordering the removal of Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, who represents the Kogi Central Senatorial District, from the Senate floor. The incident occurred after she disrupted the plenary session to protest an unauthorised modification in her seating arrangement. According to sources, the commotion began when Chief Whip Senator Mohammed Ali Monguno raised a point of order, citing Senator Akpoti-Uduaghan's "improper seating position". Before he could finish his remark, she interrupted with a heated argument, forcing the Sergeant-at-Arms to intervene and attempt to accompany her away. Despite Senate President Akpabio's attempts to restore order, Akpoti-Uduaghan refused, seeking an explanation for the move of her seat without her consent.
Other senators attempted to calm her down in the famous video, but she ignored them, defending her attitude and pressing on justification for the seat change.
