Legendary Nigerian artist 2Baba has addressed the swirling rumours surrounding his alleged disappearance and captivity, weeks after his mother's dramatic outburst made headlines. It should be noted that the singer's family recently expressed concern over his whereabouts, with his mother appearing in a viral video tearfully accusing his rumoured new lover, Natasha, of kidnapping him. The video sparked widespread anxiety and conjecture about the singer's well-being, despite the fact that he has been seen at a few public events since then. Now, 2Baba has openly responded to the incident in his trademark laid-back and hilarious manner. During a recent comedy concert organised by comedian Acapella, the music icon addressed the issue sarcastically.
I have allegedly gone missing. I was allegedly kidnapped. So when we come to the Acapella show, this show is to raise funds for the kidnappers to release me', he said, getting amusement from the audience. As of now, neither 2Baba nor his family have given an official statement regarding the first "missing person" reports or the involvement of his purported lover, Natasha, in the matter.
