Salihu Lukman, a former National Vice Chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), has called on the party's fathers to call out President Bola Tinubu to account for his non-consultative style of government.
"Our leaders who led the merger negotiations to produce APC in 2013 owe it to Nigerians to call President Tinubu to order and get him to recover whatever is left of his democratic and progressive credentials," stated Lukman in a lengthy statement released in Abuja yesterday.
It is our responsibility as a community as APC members and Nigerians to make all the necessary sacrifices in order to restore President Tinubu's administration and set it on the path to becoming an inclusive government run by the progressive party of our dreams, the APC.
"President Tinubu and the leaders of the APC must fight the need to follow the road of self-destruction and carry on running a closed government. In order to do that, all APC leaders must be willing to make the necessary sacrifices in order to earn back the respect that will allow them to be seen as leaders rather than bosses.
