Popular female musician Yemi Alade from Nigeria has given a reason for why, despite her success and popularity in the industry, she does not win prizes.The singer states that while she refuses to agree with organisers' requests for sex, she sometimes wins awards in Nigeria.
This was made public by the 'Johnny' singer in an interview. She also mentioned that she had previously been approached by a number of top executives for s3x, with bigger opportunities.
She continued by saying that she still enjoys respect and has dedicated fans, therefore she has no regrets about turning down their offers.
"Everyone in the industry wanted to have sex with me once, and people would say things like, 'Yemi, you won't have that if you don't do this.'" The reason I don't receive awards in Nigeria right now are guys.
