Eniola Ajao, a Nigerian actress and filmmaker, has finally addressed the controversy surrounding Bobrisky.
Many celebrities to talk allegedly attended the movie diva's Sunday premiere of her eagerly anticipated film, Ajanaku: Beast of Two Worlds. To the surprise of many, Bobrisky was chosen the Best Dressed Female of the Night and took home a million dollars. This didn't sit well with many of the people who had dressed up in creative costumes.
After her victory, the crossdresser and Toyin Abraham, Portable, Dayo Amusa, and others got into a dispute, which went viral on the internet. The drama changed course when Femi Adebayo and Dayo Amusa got into a public fight over the movie actor's declaration of Bobrisky as the winner.
Eniola claimed in an interview with Arise News TV that Bobrisky's nomination as the winner was a calculated decision, given that the entire event served as an advertisement and marketing scheme to support her movie. In order to generate more interest in her project, she emphasised how controversial the crossdresser is, which is why she decided to give him the Best Dressed Female title.
Eniola Ajao noticed that Femi Adebayo, who was merely trying to assist her by hosting the late hours, was the target of criticism from those who didn't know about her schemes.
