Oyinbo man gifts Nigerian student N1.5 million, launches GoFundMe campaign on his behalf for helping him without knowing him
After offering assistance to an Oyinbo man who was in need, a Nigerian student studying abroad was showered with a kind gift of N1.5 million. Zachery Dereniowski, an Oyinbo man, was the person receiving it of a kind gift from Kayode, a 34-year-old foreign student. Zachery Dereniowski stated his hunger and Kayode offered him a pack of food during their meeting at a library.
Zachery Dereniowski was touched by the unexpected act of kindness and made a surprise decision to return the favour. Zachery acknowledged Kayode's kindness by surprising him with $1,000 in cash in a video that took the event.
Moved by Kayode's situation, Zachery Dereniowski created a GoFundMe page to raise money for Kayode in order to share their story on social media. He wrote; Zachery says that Kayode is having trouble paying for his education and is about to be evicted from his flat. Kyode, a 34-year-old Nigerian foreign student, simply helped me today at the library because I was a stranger in need of food. Kyode cannot afford his school fees and is facing deportation from his home. Even though he is personally going through a lot, he still felt forced to assist me. "Kyode told me, 'If you are hardworking and have the right view, God will give support to you,' after I surprised him with a $1,000 cash. You will find favour. You will come upon kindness. "Let's band together, bless Kyode, and demonstrate to him the power of the internet." The entire amount raised will be used to pay for Kyode's living and fees for schooling.
