Kane's goal contribution total for the season now stands at an amazing 46 goals thanks to his performance against Mainz. Among players in the top five leagues in Europe, this is the highest. In addition, he made history by being the first player to score four hat-tricks in a Bundesliga season.
In addition, Kane broke the old record set decades ago by scoring two or more goals in eight separate games during his first year in the Bundesliga.
