Popular Awka Comedian, Aiza Nwosu, Three Others Involved In Accident, Rushed To Hospital
Aiza Nwosu, a well-known Awka comedian and public information presenter, was hurt in an accident on Friday morning. At the well-known Aroma intersection, three bystanders who were waiting to board buses were reportedly also impacted by the crash. In the capital city of Anambra State, Awka, Nwosu is well-known for travelling about in vans that have several loudspeakers and blasting loud music. Every now and again, he parks his car by the side of the road, turns on loud music, and starts dancing. He was driving from Aroma towards the Government House when his car struck the group of people waiting for a bus at the intersection. He struck many individuals, including a trike rider, and took them to the hospital, according to an eyewitness who said the event was caused by a brake failure. Officials from the Awka Capital Territory Development Agency, or ACTDA, were seen demolishing a portion of the car's audio system to keep it from being ruined when our correspondent got to the scene of the collision. Journalists were met with a lack of interest by onlookers at the scene, but an ACTDA official who did engage with them said he was unable to provide an explanation for the accident. "We recently arrived here. We received a call to act quickly on this emergency while we were in the office. I'm not sure how that came about. He declared, "Aiza has been transferred to a hospital for treatment and we know she is still alive." Broken windscreens from Aiza's car were all over the road, and when this article was being filled in, the officials were arranging to have the wrecked car towed to their office.
