Ubi Franklin, a close friend of Afrobeat musician Davido, discusses the singer's ongoing custody fight with Sophia Momodu over their daughter, Imade. Following Davido's original joint custody request for their daughter a few weeks ago, Sophia Momodu submitted a counter affidavit, worsening the custody issue.
Sophia's lawyer included claims of carelessness against Davido's late Child in the affidavit, causing Davido to respond via X. Ubi Franklin, who is also a father, expressed empathy with the struggles of parenthood. He added that he understands both sides' challenges and encourages assistance rather than judgement.
