Peter Obi is challenged by Reno Omokri to employ the troubled corper who lambasted Tinubu.

Reno Omokri, a former aide to former President Goodluck Jonathan, has challenged Labour Party presidential candidate Peter Obi to hire Ushie Rita Uguamaye, a National Youth Corps (NYSC) member who recently expressed concerns about economic hardship under President Bola Tinubu's administration. Omokri's contact came after Peter Obi publicly praised the corps member for her brave stance against the current administration. In a post on his Instagram page, Omokri questioned Obi's support for the NYSC member, who supposedly received threats from NYSC authorities for criticising the government.

Omokri advised that if Peter Obi thought the corps member's behaviour represented a decent upbringing and moral values, he should offer her a job at one of his enterprises. He stated, "Peter Obi owns several companies." I encourage him to put his money where his mouth is. If he believes that National Youth Service Corps member Ushie Rita Uguamaye, also known as Raye, had a good upbringing and projected the right moral virtues, I challenge him to offer her automatic employment in any of his companies so she can bring that attitude that he now admires into his companies and teach all Peter Obi's employees to behave similarly."This public conversation follows Obi's own public support for Rita Uguamaye, commonly known as Raye, who expressed her discontent with the current economic situation and government policies.
