Four people were saved from a deadly car accident in Lagos.

The Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA) saved four people from a tragic car accident in Lagos State. The agency's Permanent Secretary, Dr Olufemi Oke-Osanyintolu, confirmed this in a statement made on Tuesday in Lagos. He revealed that the incident occurred on Monday evening and that the victims suffered serious injuries in the collision involving two buses. According to the statement, the Toyota Coaster bus collided with the parked BRT while attempting to overtake a car as it approached Iyana-Oworo.

Oke-Osanyintolu stated that the agency received a distress call and promptly activated its emergency response team at the Command and Control Centre in Alausa, Ikeja. "The injured victims received pre-hospital care treatment from the agency's paramedics before being evacuated to nearby government-owned hospitals," he told me.
